Nope, haven't heard of that game.

Only football game I care about is Tecmo Bowl and Super Tecmo Bowl. I know Syd hates those but those are the original arcade football games that made football fun to play. I like Blitz but it can't hold its weight against TB or STB.

I just dislike football games in general. I have nothing specific against TB and STB, other than those are ones I played the most.

Fair enough. I haven't enjoyed a Madden game since the Genesis/SNES days. I played the one on the 64 and I knew it was just gonna get too ridiculous and un-fun from then on out.

I haven't bought any Madden game since the '06 version. I still play Tecmo Super Bowl (all three) for the SNES sometimes.

I'm not much for sports games.

Super High Impact, Tecmo Bowl, and NFL Blitz = awesome, and I like Madden. I got 08 for the DS.

But in all actuality, this is the best football game ever made, by Nintendo, no less:

Mutant League Hockey Ruled all. Nothing's more fun than chasing down a troll with your chainsaw while skating around, trying to avoid mines.

Yeah, Mutant League did rule. The cartoon was ok. But this should definitely be a franchise that needs to be revived.

I want to see Capcom revive it, so we get a Resident Evil team.

Interesting idea. The creative team doing a sports game... That actually does pique my interest. But I would want them to really take that ball and run with it. I wouldn't settle for just having creatures that look like Nemesis playing Baseball. There needs to be cinemas, tone, and even some satrical commentary relating to the use of steroids by highly paid professional athletes. Elevate that franchise into something fun, but thought provoking.

Capcom would have to buy Mutant League from EA though.

Fine, I'll go pitch to Capcom why the acquisition would be lucrative.

I want Capcom to really "take the ball and run with it" for a "touchdown". That would be pretty awesome. T-Virus could be analogous to steroids in their baseball world.
