Apparently ubi is trying to sue somethingawful over some webcomic they linked to featuring Jade Raymond blowing a guy for a good review or something... anyone seen it? I assume it's gotta be bad if it went this far, but I don't see anything on google.

I think that game is pretty much being held up by its own awesomeness. I forgot that it was developed by a woman until I saw the comic. Anyway, the point is moot, as the game would rule if it was developed by a man.
On the other hand, Ubisoft has no right to sue. That's not libel, it's satire (poor satire, yes, but we can't sue somebody for fucking something up). Satire is a protected form of free speech.

I've heard mixed things about the game, but as far as the comic goes, it was bound to happen eventually. Ubi's been trotting her around like some trophy horse as of late.

According to all my friends, the game is the second coming of Christ. As far as Ubisoft trotting her around, I don't follow developers.

I don't either, but I follow the news and she's been unavoidable as of late. With her "I make the same smile in every photo" face. I'm almost as tired of her as I am of people jizzing over Rock Band. :p

The only time I saw her was on an interview on Game Head back when Assassin's Creed was still in early beta.
And why are people jizzing on Rock Band? It's like Guitar Hero plus.

You got me. The same people who go "PS3 $600 LOLZ" etc, are the same people fisting themselves with glee over the idea of paying $150+ for one game. It's like Bizarro Gamestop or something.

I'd rather have creative peripherals for $150 than a 360 with a bunch of shit heaped on and a new disc format for $600.

Well, being as you need friends to play Rock Band, ostensibly you'd split the cost of it.
Now if you really want to talk about games that were a waste of money, how about the $250 XBox game Steel Battalion?

I just read the comic and saw pictures of her. She has attractive qualities but her smile is too fucking big. Or the pictures were bad.
But this is just a comic and its all satire. No one can take a fucking joke anymore. And she probably does love the cock.

Yeah, but that came with a two joystick, 40 button controller and there were only like 2,000 units world-wide produced. Sure, it probably only works for that one game and then you have a $50 game and $150 worth of useless peripheral, but given the production cost and low number of units, it's not a ridiculous price to ask. Limited quantities jacks up the price of anything, try looking for limited edition Transformers on Ebay, you'll see people dropping $500+ for what was essentially a $40 or $50 toy originally.
