You hear they're blaming metal for it? HA! The kid had videos of him calling for revolution all over youtube. How bout people listen to this kid's cries for help instead of blaming heavy metal and grand theft auto after the fact. I don't know about you guys, but metal pumps me up, gets me ready for the day, and I use GTA to take out my anger. Neither of those things make me want to go all Boomtown Rat on my university. Bunch of garbage

Why do they blame metal for it? If anything, I'd blame emo shit like MCR. Or, you know, the kid's parents.

Otherwise known as the retard filter. Sadly, it seems that there has been some sort of weird mutation in 90% of the human race that has caused people to be born without this much-needed filter.

All these shootings piss me off for a number of reasons. As a current substitute teacher and potential future educator, they make me especialy sad.
Also, I did consider myself a bit of a loser and an outsider in highschool. I was dorky, intimdated by the "popular group," had low self esteem, was occasionally very depressed and, from a social standpoint, didn't have a good time. Then I realized the social aspects of highschool are meaningless and stopped giving a shit. Everything turned out fine.
I honestly don't remember if I ever thought about killing anyone, but if I did I must have quickly realized how stupid and pointless it would be. After all, it would only validate the fact that these other kids were somehow 'better' than me. Also, I would be dead. And everyone would post horrible things about me on the internet.
Bottom line: Killing people won't vindicate you if you feel like an outcast. It will only prove that you never deserved to be accepted.

I used to have low self esteem and be unpopular, but then I realized that I shouldn't have low self esteem. Why? Because I'm always right. How? I realized that as long as you think you're right, you usually are. And if you're wrong, then chances are that the other person is, too. So the point is moot. This boost in self-esteem made me become more popular, and while I'm not uber-popular, I'm very well liked at my high school.

Instead of thinking about killing people in my school, I think about if I had special powers and could make OTHER people kill people.
