I'm slumming it in Missouri right now. Gonna visit haunted cemeteries and drink hard cider.
so Char, if you see a guy in a local H shirt, go in the opposite direction.

Where are you exactly? I know Atchison has some haunted spots.
Also, I recommend getting the fuck out of Missouri, since it sucks here.

There's a Branson. And Lebanon is a fucking drive from St. Joseph. But since you're in Lebanon, I suggest going to Lambert's Cafe if you haven't already. It's certainly an odd experience, let me tell you.

Cattivo, are the people there nice to tourists?
I've always heard that Missouri loves company.

You know, when the North won the Civil War, one of the terms of the South's surrender should have been that Southerners had to learn to talk properly. They should at least learn to talk like Foghorn Leghorn. He rules.

For a moment, I thought you were talking about Oregon. We have both a Springfield and a Lebanon here, also.

Went to Branson last time I was up here in july. the amusement park was kind of fun.
Every time we come out here, we mean to go to lambert's, but run out of time. last time we actually went, but it was too early and they weren't opening for a couple of hours. We didn't even try this time.

In fairness, shitty English and grammar is pretty spread out nationwide. In the classes I've taught, you should see some of the papers I've had to grade.
I think it's a sign of the coming apocalypse when a 20-year old junior includes an "lol," a "btw," and fails to capitalize a proper noun (President Bush = president bush).
I blame Facebook, My Super Sweet 16, and Laguna Beach.

Thou, because I am wroth, be not dismayed, for I shall win the strife, whoever circle round within for the defence. This their insolence is not new, for of old they used it at a less secret gate, which still is found without a bolt. Above it thou didst see the dead inscription; and already on this side of it
descends the steep, passing without escort through the circles,
One such that by him the city shall be opened to us. |

We also get to wear tee-shirts lamenting our loss.
