Something Wicked This Way Comes.

I watched the Disney version last night and while I love it, Bradbury' s source material could have been handled better. Depp would be perfect as Mr. Dark and it seems like the sort of film project that Burton would love to take on. It's the remake he SHOULD have done instead of Charlie & The Chocolate Factory... it certainly would have been met with less hositility.

If they were to redo a Disney film, my vote is for "The Black Hole".

Don't you mean "The Black Cauldron?"

No, he means The Black Hole: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0078869/

It was a 1979 sci-fi movie. It was pretty cool. I'm not sure if a remake would work though. Plus, people don't want to see Johnny Depp in space. The Astronaut's Wife, anyone?

Also, it looks like it might be getting remade: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0775433/

Actually I meant that I'd like to see Disney remake Cauldron.

Was that that one book...with that guy. And there were like...old people and stuff. And a merry-go-round. That was a good book.

I'm pretty sure you mean "The Hellbound Heart" by Clive Barker. Wink

No, I just looked it up on Wikipedia. There was that kid's dad who was the janitor. And the lighting rod salesman, and the carnival came to town and crazy shit started happening. i really need to read that again.
