Until recently, I've never found the time to really get into the Mario sports series, but I recently played Super Mario strikers for the GameCube with a friend and found it to be quite enjoyable.

I've heard good things about Toadstool Tour and Mario Power Tennis for the GameCube, but are there any suggestions for Mario sports games (series or individual) worth picking up? Has anyone played Mario Strikers Charged for Wii?

I admit I haven't played all the Mario sports related games, but Mario Golf on the GC was fucking fun. It's also great fun mashing the taunt button non-stop while your friend is trying to line up a shot. My favorite is the Wario one where it sounds like he's saying DOGGIE DOGGIE DOGGIE DOGGIE DOGGIE DOGGIE DOGGIE DOGGIE when you do it fast.

For N64, I loved Mario Golf. Still don't like the real thing or any other golf video game.

Mario Tennis was respectable, but not great. I think I might have liked it more if it didn't introduce Waluigi, who dominated the game in doubles because of his height. Just place him in the front of the net, and you're all set....I probably would have liked him if his name and symbol made more sense in English.

Yeah, I agree with Mario Tennis and Golf. The makers of those games (Camelot) are making a golf game for the Wii called We Love Golf, coming next year. It's mine.

I got a chance to play Mario Hoops 3on3 for the DS, it was alright with the touchscreen passing. Also, FF1 characters.

The Wii Strikers game is damn fun.

My brother's favorite character is the ninja. Also, on a side note his first time using the word fuck was when he screamed out "fucking ninja!" while playing against him.
