I was never alive during the golden age of wrestling, but I always liked it whenever they showed a clip of Roddy Piper doing something crazy.

Also, this isn't really a WWF clip, but Macho Man Randy Savage on The Arsenio Hall Show:

Listen to the crowd's reaction. I don't think I've heard a bigger pop before. Too bad the decision was overturned later that night.

I find it "classic" as it's one of my early memories of wrestling. That and the crowd was totally into it.

You know, people rag on early 90s WWF, but that shit was great. Yokozuna was the perfect example of how you build a credible heel, then an awesome heel champion. Of course, they ruined it when he turned good and started talking like a surfer, but 92-late 95 was great for him.

Also great from around the time in this video is where he helps end Tatanka's undefeated streak, and Ludvig Borga pins Tatanka with one finger.

Yeah, I remember watching that Tatanka/Borga match from Superstars. I'm still amazed how the ref doesn't hear the Borga slamming Tatanka with the chair, when he was a couple feet from them.
