But AT+T put up 600 wi-fi spots for fire victims or something. If my house (and computer) were burnt up, what good does wi-fi do me?

Like the people whose lives are destroyed by this fire should have shit like this happen. The people are insured, AT&T is getting there money for the damn resiver anyway so . . . I mean what the hell? The people are victims of a natrual disaster. If anything, it will be family memrobilia that they think of saving first, not the damn resever. And $300 for a resever. Smells like a scam and man i have a lot of miss spellings in this post.

I've referred this tale before, but when getting broadband we explored the option of getting DSL via AT&Fucktard. They said that it would be fine, and that they would send out a router to be installed within a week. We waited three, and then my mom decided to call to see what the hell was going on. Turns out that DSL wasn't possible in my neighborhood, due to the fact that a router station hadn't been installed (DSL signal degrades rapidly unless boosted). They didn't tell us this, they didn't send a router, and they were STILL GOING TO CHARGE US RENTAL AND INSTALLATION, AS WELL AS MAKE US PAY FOR THE INTERNET SERVICE!!!

So, we went with our cable company's internet. Sure, it might be spotty and shitty at times, but at least that company is honest.
