So it came out on the Wii last week and the PS2 in September. I picked up the Wii version last Friday.
The Wii and PS2 versions are identical, except the Wii version offers support for three different controllers - Wii remote and nunchuk, Classic Controller, and Wavebird. The remote controls are pretty awful, but not because they're hard to use. No, the Wii controls suck because they're TOO EASY to use. Guilty Gear has always been known for its high learning curve, and the Wii-specific control scheme allows you to execute complex insta-kills with just the press of a few buttons and a shake of your remote. It's basically like playing Capcom vs. SNK 2 EO using the GC-ISM control scheme, where you could just tap the C-Stick to execute a special move.
As far as Guilty Gear games go, Accent Core is pretty awesome. There's only two bad things. First, Kliff and Justice were removed because they've been deemed too broken for tournament play. Secondly, just like Slash, the game lacks a story mode. This really really sucks because the story mode and prematch dialogues in the older games were great. They really need to bring that shit back in the next one.
But anyway, if you like 2D fighters and you own a Wii or PS2, get this damn game.

For the record, Kliff and Justice Gold were machine guns... I don't think there are any other characters who can inflict as much damage with single moves as Kilff can (I might be wrong?).
Too bad for story mode, Guilty Gear XX has become another Street Fighter 2, where many iterations of the same game continuously come into being (although that's not necessarily a bad thing, I grabbed Guilty Gear XX Slash and it was great to see Holy Order Sol and a more balanced ABA in the character roster).
How are the new voices by the way?
And to top it all off, I'm not looking forward to the new Adventure/Fighting game: Guilty Gear 2: Overture... it's being developed solely on the Xbox 360 to boost Xbox sales in Japan... how lame.

Well, the voices are all in Japanese, so I don't have any real opinion on them. They're not good or bad, they're just sort of there.
I do have one other minor complaint about the game: virtually every cool unlockable feature - EX characters, GG mode, GGX mode, Gold & Shadow characters, Slash stages, #Reload stages - can be unlocked via time release. So you just leave the game on in Training Mode when you're asleep or at work or school and you'll have everything except the art galleries unlocked in three or four days. To complete the art galleries, you'll have to beat the game with every regular and EX character. That still gives the game some decent replay, but it's a shame they don't make you master the Medal and Survival modes.

And how's the soundtrack? Do you think it's worth getting, even for people who own previous installments of the series? I have the original Guilty Gear and X-2 Reload.

The game has all the music that was in XX #Reload, as well as any new songs that were in Japan-only XX Slash release, and two new songs that were composed specifically for Accent Core. So if you like the music in #Reload, you'll like the music in this one.
Accent Core is essentially just an updated version of #Reload. Kliff and Justice are gone, replaced with Holy Order Sol and ABA. The stages and character models are all redone, but the old versions of stages are available as well. If you have friends who will play the game with you, I'd say definitely get it. The fighting engine has been improved and characters have been rebalanced, so the game plays a lot better. If your friends aren't into Japanese heavy metal fighting games, then don't. Unlike #Reload, there is no story mode. So there's no in-depth one player mode and you'll probably get bored of it pretty quick.

Do you think it's worth it if I already have XX #Reload?
