Conker was an awful game. I'm no prude, but when you work that blue, it should make sense and be funny, instead of just being for the sake of it.
Plus, the storyline was ridiculous, and the gameplay was awful - making you do the same mundane tasks over and over and over again. I thought it would be a funny little adult game, but it was boring and silly.

I enjoyed the game. It had decent parodies of pop culture movies and the humor, although rather crass, was funny. I knew the story made no sense whatsoever, but I just looked beyond that and the game wasnt bad.

I never played the N64 version. I played the Xbox games (with the remake). They were fun, and it controlled better than the N64 version. Also, fur shading.
Nice pun with the thread title too.

I played it for a little on the XBox once, later a downloaded it as a ROM but the file is so huge it won't run on my computer. When I was older (and after I got rid of my N64) I realized that Conker was always at the used game store I frequented, I felt like such a dumbass I decided to buy the Conker game for GBC, then I felt like a bigger dumbass.

It was OK. My favorite part was multiplayer, Squirrels VS Teddyz.

The bible is actually a pretty good book. Well, better than Harry Potter at least.

I know some people who were saying this last Harry Potter book was the best book ever written or something. Seems like a stretch, but I've never read it, so who can tell.

I've somehow never read those or seen the movies for them, either.

So you never played the N64 version, yet you still somehow have an opinion on how well it controlled? OK...

I've read them all and their a good read but the hype on the series is blown way out of proportion. The last book was okay but it was no way the best book ever written. Some of the subplots still confuse me and the big bad should have had a cooler death.
As for Conker, it is one of the few RARE games for the N64 i didn't play. Never had the chance really to play it and from what i've hear, it is the most crude game they made for the N64.

It plays a lot like Banjo-Kazooie. In fact, I consider the Banjo-Kazooie series to be Banjo-Kazooie, Banjo-Tooie, Donkey Kong 64, and Conker. You have to admit that Rare rehashed the game style and engine to death.

Well, to be fair, SFA was a lot more action-oriented than those other games. But yeah, there still was a lot of collecting.

Yeah. It wasn't even supposed to be a Star Fox game. Krystal was an OK addition to the Star Fox universe, but I could do without Prince Tricky.
