Yup, Japanese people keep getting crazier and crazier.
Apparently this is a beer commercial for kids. That's right, kids.

Japanese Beer For Kids You wouldn`t see this commercial in the US.

So here in America, a man can vote, join the army and have legal relations at the age of 18 but he still can't have a beer until he is 21 and yet 2 year old Japanese kids can guzzle as much beer as they want? It truly is a:

Do you want children drinking beer? It seems like a bad idea is all. At least at age 21, you can assume the person at some point made a responsible decision to drink. Children are not developmentally ready to be making diet choices for themselves.

Probably 80% of beer drinkers should steer clear of it, adult or otherwise.

Is that actual 100% real alcoholic beer? It's not the beverage equivalent of candy cigarettes, is it? Either way, I don't approve.

There are candy cigarettes?! That's more fucked up than the beer. Where's that legal?
If you ask me it probably just resembles beer, seeing the legal drinking and purchase age in Japan is 20.

They later changed the packaging to say 'Candy Sticks' instead of cigarettes, and they removed the red colouring from the tips as well.

The big league chew is gum "Chaw", am I the only one to have noticed that?

When they invent injectable candy our society is screwed.

And those one type of candy cigarettes where you could blow in them and dust would come out the other end. Even when they were Candy Sticks I can still remember us crazy kids just pretending we were smoking with them.

There's also a special version of champagne made for kids, it's called Champomy. You can check it out here: http://www.champomy.com/index.html I never tasted it myself, but it's supposed to taste like bubbly apple juice. Why would anyone buy that crap? Go figure.

I've had sparkling grape juice, and it tastes really good.

As for candy cigarettes, I remember when the ice cream truck that passed by our neighborhood used to sell them. They were basically a compact form of powdered sugar. I had already made up my mind from a very early age not to smoke, so I didn't feel guilty about buying them. They were okay.

There were also candy cigarettes that were bubble gum in a wrapping paper sort of thing. And there was powdered sugar on the gum so you could blow on the cigarette and it would look like smoke was coming out.

Actually, I've heard of this a long time ago. I know, expect Mr. Bomberman to say this, blah blah blah. =P

Anyway, that beer has no alcohol in it. It's illegal to do so. The drinking age over there (from the people I talked to) is 20 in most prefectures.

I saw a pack of candy cigarettes at the quick shop the other day. Lucky Lights. I actually tried to cut in line to buy them. We had a laugh that day.
