Marina Batkis is the co-owner of Mutts and Moms, a pet adoption agency. She was recently thrust into the national spotlight when her agency "repossessed" a dog that talk show host Ellen Degeneres adopted, but then gave away to her hairdresser's daughters when her cats couldn't get along with it. Ellen explained the situation when the agency called during a courtesy call the organization placed to see how the dog was doing. Ellen explained the situation and apparently it violated the adoption terms, so they took it away. Then Ellen when on her talk show and cried about how heartbroken the girls she gave the dog to were. Batkis and her organization refuse to back down.

"If Ellen wants to place dogs and decide what's a good home, then she should start her own rescue group," she told "Inside Edition." "But I'm the one doing this and I know what I'm doing."

Batkis has received death threats since Ellen addressed the issue, leading Batkis to cry in a press conference outsider her home. Good. You deserve to cry, you worthless bitch. You deserve to die too, and if I didn't live all the way across the country, I'd kill you myself.

I adopted a cat from an adoption agency before, and it was the most miserable experience of my entire life. These agencies are the all same, they're all essentially run by Kyle's Mom from South Park, some self-important bitch who desperately wants whatever power over other people she can possibly muster.
Pet adoption should be an easy process, especially seeing as pets that DON'T get adopted are eventually euthanized, but stupid bitches like Marina Batkis make it hard. They make you fill out lengthy questionnaires before they give you a pet, then once they finally DO give you one, they harass you with follow-up calls for about six months. What the fuck is that? Don't you pieces of shit have anything better to do with you lives? Shouldn't you be working on finding homes for the pets that ARE STILL SITTING IN FUCKING CAGES IN YOUR HEADQUARTERS, instead of harassing people who have already adopted pets?
