I'm Canadian, so I don't hate you. I got a new job too. I'm a roofer. It's pretty awesome, except that I'm afraid of heights

I did roofing for awhile here. Not fun, considering an average day in the summer is about 115F where I live. Not to mention my boss believed in thicker work shirts...

Fuck roofing. I'd rather do tile any day over roofing. And Tile is....well...fuck tile

Ah I work for a bunch of stoners and my boss is afraid of heights. He's also a friend of the family so I can't get fired lol

Hmm. So you got your job at the IRS at the same time I got my first job, which will also be the first time I'll have to pay taxes. Interesting.

When I was single I always claimed "1" and they would rape me on my paychecks for taxes. But, on the bright side I always ended up getting rather large refunds every year. So, I looked at it has my special "savings account", because there was no way I could touch the money and every year I would get a $1000.00+ check which made for some sweet shopping trips.
