Hey guys! I was wondering if anybody is excited about Neo Geo finally reaching the American Wii Virtual Console. Just today, I downloaded World Heroes into my Wii for 900 Wii Points. It's actually quite good.
The other two currently available are Art of Fighting and Fatal Fury: King of Fighters.

Did it, now? I'll have to check that out.
And yeah, World Heroes rules. I especially like World Heroes Perfect.

I can't wait until Hori releases their Wii Digital Arcade Stick.
As much as I love the Classic Controller (as it's so much better than the Gamecube controller when it comes to playing most classic games; try playing Super Mario World or Virtua Fighter 2 with it), I think that Hori's stick would be better for Neo Geo titles than that.

Christ, Contra III with the GameCube controller doesn't work.

I love the classic controller, but I don't see how you guys are having problems playing SNES games with GCN controller. I beat ActRaiser on Professional Mode with it, as well as Comix Zone. I know that's a Genesis game, but still.

The problem with Contra is that the jump button is B and the fire button is X (or vice-versa). That does not work for Contra.

Lord, that game was awesome, though. And also the only quote I ever got in the "Name that Video Game Quote" thread.

As we drift back to the topic, has anybody downloaded any Neo Geo games into his or her Wii? How are the other two games?

Seriously, it's the best Mario game hands down. And that includes Mario's Turtle Busters.

So, what other Neo Geo games should come to the Virtual Console?

You can always do GameTap and play it there, but I'm in the same camp as you on both games in that series.

I know that the game has been up for weeks, but Blue's Journey is available for sale in the Wii Shop Channel.

Twinkle Star Sprites would be a good one for the VC, except I already own it on PC and Dreamcast.
