Not quite as bad, but here's a clip from the Japanese version of Powerpuff Girls, known as PPGZ. The girls don't appear until the very end of the clip, but it gets major points for using the phrase "fighting love". This is the only subbed PPGZ clip I could find.

I find the whole concept of an anime PPG absurd, seeing as PPG is a spoof of anime style characters, exaggerating the youth and eye-size of female anime protagonists.

I do like how Him is the central villain in PPGZ. I don't like that Mojo Jojo has been downgraded from criminal super genius to childish evil monkey.

I don't understand why they felt they had to turn the turtles into a Power Rangers ripoff.
And I find it funny that PPGZ uses the term "fighting love" when I first heard that in the South Park episode, "Fun Times with Weapons".

Actually they take their cue from those Margaret Keane pictures from the 60s. Ya know, the ones with nothing but giant headed, big eyed, sad kids? Evidence to this fact is that their teacher is named Ms. Keane, and that anything Craig McCracken touches positively reeks of the 60s. Or maybe its the 70s. But I'm pretty sure its the 60s.
