Is Gossip Girl or Sarah Conner already too late to be shows? Nothing is too unpopular to commercialize. Case in point: Johnny Depp's Dark Shadows movie.
True, look at all the franchises from the 80s being remade into a movie or series. Heck i heard GI Joe and Thundercats were being remade like Transformers. The thing is I haven't heard much about street fighters lately and hearing about another movie being made is just surprising.
Honestly, I hadn't heard anything about "Transformers" post early nineties before "Clerks II"... Okay, I think I heard Michael Bay would direct it before that, but nonetheless.

Okay, Hollywood needs to scrap thier SF2 project immediately. The Koreans beat them to it, and nothing Hollywood could do with Street Fighter will top this:
That is all.

that blanka and balrog are hilarious. zangief too.
jedite reviews the one and only Street Fighters Movie in three parts. Thanks to these videos I have satisfied my curiosity of the SF movie and have no desire to suffer through it only if I get to MST-style riff it with friends. If you can get past his voice, he does have some good points on how bad the movie was. I really don't know what to say about the movie other then, what the hell did they do to blaunka?
part 1
part2
part3

Wow, after only ten seconds of listening to that guy, I knew I wanted to beat him up. There's just something about him that just screams "Kick my ass, I deserve it!"
What a freak.

Can you believe that i look past it now. I use to find his voice annoying, but i got use to it. He is a freak, but I find his opinions on video games interesting. Plus, i have to admit, his voice does crack me up.

Street Fighter will never have a decent live action show/movie. They will never receive sufficient funds to make the specials look cool like they do in the games.
I've seen that review before. Never noticed he had pokemon curtains until now.

Depends on who buys the license. If someone like LucasArts or Warner bought it, they'd have enough for good specials.

"Honda's men are no longer Street Fighters. They see this as Mortal Kombat, and they have the Killer Instinct. If you do not help your friends, this may be their Final Fight. Clay Fighter."

More info on the Movie: (From Destructoid.com)
We learned a few days ago that Hyde park Entertainment's upcoming Street Fighter film will be titled Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li, and the main focus of its story will be on ... well, guess who.
Casting has begun on the new movie, and now it's been revealed that Kristin Kreuk will be playing the lead role.
Wow, that's a great idea. We have a role perfect for a female Chinese martial artist! Let's give it to the chick who played Lana Lang in Smallville!

Dude, roles like that don't go to martial artists. They go to actors with lots of dance talent.

Kruek is Eurasian and we need more respect than the real Chinese women are getting... Especially when so many of them are sucking so bad right now. There I said it!
