I have a basic concept for a game. it would be a TPS (Third Person Shooter) , FPS (If you don't know this you fail at video games...First Person Shooter) , RTS (Real Time Strategy) , TBS ( Turn Based Strategy) , and a FS (Flight Simulator)

the only way to do this would to be a massive war game.

that would be my dream game.

fourth person shooters are much better. that's how halo 5 plays.

What aout the Halo 6 alpha build? It's a FORTH person shooter AND it has 4-D graphics with bit, bump, bip, boop, and beep mapping combined!!

In other news, I was planning to trade my 360 in on Tuesday... because I'd been planning to anyway, but being able to go "there's nothing to play on 360" on halo launch day, at a gamestop that will be loaded to the gills, after typing up the line with my tradein, seems like a fun time.

But you have to have the original faceplate and mine is long gone. So now I gotta hunt one down tomorrow, all to have this "look at what a jerk I am" story to tell.

ok slugger, here's the deal.

a 360 trades in for about 200 store credit, assuming you have everything.

yours is missing the faceplate, and is therefore untradeable.

I have two hundred and fifty dollars in store credit for my local comic shop sitting around, which I was going to put into a wii when they got one, but I really want another 360.

give me a laundary list of stuff you want, like games and stuff a comic shop would have, I'll use my store credit to get it, and trade it all for you for your 360. sound good?

I'm willing to spend my afternoon tracking down a faceplate, at either a brick-and-mortar, or from friends I know who have 360s. I'm willing to pay to restore my 360 to original look, just for the experience Tuesday.

Also: I work in an anime shop, so I have access to pretty much all of the stuff I want like that (except a 360 faceplate)... so I appreciate the offer, but if I can't get a plate in time, I guess I'll just keep it for now.

The ultimate insult to the fanbois, would be to trade in a copy of Halo 3 on its launch day, if you could get your hands on a copy early enough. Tell the store clerk that it's the worst game you ever played and demand your money back.

Oh, and if I made a game this is exactly how it would look on the DS:

And this is how it would look on the Wii.

An anime-styled arcade-like football game with special attacks and supers. It would put Madden in it's well deserved grave.

OK, I was a little on the happy grass with the Madden comment but...

Anyway, are you talkin' about The Bigs? ...It's because it wasn't that good. My friend has it on the 360. The supers were only automatic homeruns or super fastballs (basically automatic strikeouts), iirc. They don't fit in a baseball game too well.

I want an extra 360 for halo 3, silly.

also, being a former gamestop employee, I was allowed to hang out inside to get my copy while all the douchebags were outside in the cold all night. we had a virtua fighter 5 tournament.

also, we kept opening the door and making fun of the people, shouting things like "we're playing it inside! master chief dies!" and "The truck was delayed two hours, you'll have to wait to get your copies."
