Not musically, but take a look at this:
Overkill's "The Years of Decay" album cover, 1989:
Avenged Sevenfold's "Waking the Fallen:

Avenged Sevenfold's cover:
Man, where have I seen that before? Oh, right, two seconds ago. Now, I'm putting my feelings about A7X's music aside, and saying that that is one lame-ass cover. I mean, it's THE EXACT SAME COVER! I could have made this cover using MS Paint and the "Invert Colors" button. In fact, I think I will:

How fucking metal is that? People will say "But Enshin, that's just the Years of Decay slanted to the side!" To that I say, the art has been revamped in a totally different, and awesomely badass style. Trust me, that ain't the same, and if I was 18, I'd get that tattooed on my chest. Sure, I was going to get my wife's name tattooed instead, but screw her. She'll probably only marry me for my money.
Winner of the Battle of the Album Covers:
The hardest working thrash metal band around, OVERKILL!!!!!!!
