MySpace is done promoting Mr. Woodcock and has moved on to John Woo's Strangehold. And man, are the banner ads dumb. The game's two main features, as told by MySpace, are:

"Blast away in real time while the rest of the world dramatically slows down!"
"The most destructible environments ever created!"

ZOMG, THAT'S SO FUCKING INNOVATIVE! NICE WORK, JOHN WOO. WAY TO TAKE MAX PAYNE AND PUT YOUR NAME ON IT.

I don't care. I've watched everything there is to watch on the new "Face/Off" DVD and I'm super pumped for John Woo... Until I remember he hasn't done anything great since "Face/Off". Razz

Still, even his passable films are still pretty tight.

There were rumors for a few years that Woo was going to direct and/or produce a Metroid Prime movie. I believe it was actually more than rumors at one point... but that seems to have fallen apart.

I think the dealbreaker was that there are no doves on Zebes.

I liked the SH demo, but I think the fun would wind down on about the 50th room I did the same thing in.

Yet, I'll spend 6 hours doing Ruins runs in Phantasy Star Online. Strange.

I don't mind a grind as long as it's a FUN grind.

my problem with the game was that it was slippery and hard to control. I would literally run in circles sliding over tables getting shot to pieces.

I love the slow motion face off parts, and using the focus view to shoot people in the balls.

if tehy fix it up alot, I might spend twenty bucks on it.
