You guys ever hear of Chilliwack, BC? Of course not, it's a tiny little shitpit about an hour away from Vancouver. Apparently Snoop Dogg, along with Lil' John or something and a couple other rap artists are coming. The only other notable performers we've had here were Retrofest, featuring Blue Oyster Cult, Edgar Winter, and Rick Derringer, which no one attended; Alice Cooper, which no one attended (but it was a KILLER show); and Jann Arden, which sold out. I don't have a problem with Snoop coming to Chilliwack, it's his choice venue which concerns me: the Popkum Native reserve. Our town is littered with native kids who think they're black. This is gonna make it way worse. Oy...

LOL. That's a funny rant, but it is interesting that he is going to that little 'shitpile' town as you call it. I would love to see Snoop live though. I love all his old shit.

He'd be cool to see, but I fear the reserve. This will solve one problem though: my sister says she knows a bunch of white 'ganstas' going, and they're all gonna get shitkicked lmao

Alice is playing this Friday a couple towns away. Apparently he plays every year. We saw in in '06. Killer show.

Come on, how can you hate on Snoop?

Even if you don't like his music, he doesn't really do anything that's hatable. He's like the most easygoing guy in the world. Hell, he even appeared on an episode of Monk.

and you obviously dont follow any hip-hop/rap. Snoop has been around for at least 15 years. So, you really cant compare him to the new crop of crappers... i mean rappers.

I didn't realize rap from 1992 was considered "New"

Since that's when Snoop made his musically debut with Dr.Dre on "The Cronic".

And, Doggystlye came out one year later.
