One of my friends is still looking for a Wii, and one of my old coworkers was auctioning his off on eBay. I told my friend about the auction and I went to check and see if he won it. He didn't, but while I was on the page, it gave me a list of similar auctions. One auction was "NIB Nintendo Wii Console + 14 Wii Games + 4 Controllers" starting at $469. That sounded like a pretty good deal and I was intrigued, so I clicked on it.

Here's WHAT I SAW.

As you can see, the auction in question doesn't have 14 games, it has two: Wii Sports and Wii Play. You also don't really get 4 controllers. 4 controllers implies that you get 4 Wii remotes... you don't, you get two remotes and two nunchuks. To be fair though, the items are NIB.

The mark-up on that package is ridiculous. The Wii (with Wii Sports, remote, and nunchuk) is $250. Wii Play (with remote) is $50. And the nunchuk is $20. That comes to $320, which os $150 less than they're asking for it. On top of that, they want $40 shipping. In summation, this seller seriously needs to FOAD.

I'm not very familiar with eBay. Isn't there a way to call his bluff or something?

The thing is, technically he doesn't lie. If you read description, he makes it clear what the item is even though the subject line is misleading. There were people back in November who were selling "PS-3" on eBay, and if you read the description, it would tell you that you were bidding on a lot of 3 PSXs.

But yeah, you can Ask The Seller A Question, which shows up on the page for everyone to see.

It sucks, but you have to admit it's crafty. People fall for that shit too, I'm sure.

It's kind of the same thing, but I hate when I'm looking for something that's usually not on eBay, like Running Wild stuff. All I get is "helloween RUNNING WILD GAMMA RAY LP IRON SAVIOR ~~L@@K!!!~~"

Yeah, I remember when the PSP came out and some dood sold a PSP box. Not the PSP itself. Just the box. Of course, people fell for it and some dumbass ended w/the PSP box. lol.

Remeber the guy who had the HD Sega Genesis w/Wresltemania 2000?

I sent him questions regarding both. First asking how he hack the genesis to display 720p/1080i resolutions, and 2nd how he had the world's only Genesis port of Wrestlemania 2000.

He privately replied to me that the box stated High Def Graphics, and that the game he has was in fact the N64 version. But, he didn't put my questions up on his aution. Therefore, the "Ask The Seller A Question" is apparently optional if the seller wishes to place the question and answer into his auction.
