Adult Swim has been showing all week an ad for a Simpsons movie preview they were going to air last night with Aqua Teen Hunger Force characters in place of and colored like Springfield residents and it looked AWESOME. So I watched all last night for it and when the "Ok, here it comes" bump came up, I was psyched. Unfortunately, I was to be sorely disappointed as the actual preview was just a five second clip from the movie of Homer, looking like he always does, berating movie theatre patrons. I was fucking pissed, I don't know why Adult Swim insists on being dickish to their fanbase but I'm getting sick of it.
Here's the original ad spot for it that got me excited:
"Let that be a lesson to you, your family and everyone you've ever known..."
"Thanks to denial, I'm immortal!"

well that sucks. same thing happened to me watching g4 the other night. they were talking about showing a preview of this new show all night and it was like 1:00 am and they still hadn't shown it.

I thought this thread was going to be about the finale of Harvey Birdman (which I thought was awesome).
But yeah, if AS actually had done a parody of the Simpsons with Aqua Teen characters, that would've been great.
