I'm wondering why The Others, The Village, and The Wicker Man are on there. They're not quite the same caliber as those other films. Unless they're talking about the 70s version of Wicker Man, which I bet they aren't.

The Wicker Man is a big film for British people. We only got the remake.

Yeah, I mentioned the 70s version. It had Christopher Lee and it was awesome. I think it got a theatrical release over here and it definitely got at least two DVD releases, a bare bones one and a super cool limited edition that came in a wooden coffin.
Seeing as many (but not all) of the films on the poster are newer, I assume they mean the American remake. Of course, I've never actually seen the American version, so I don't actually know how it ends. Depending on how it ends, the poster might refer to the 70s version by default. Knowing Hollywood and how much they fucking suck, Nicolas Cage probably doesn't even die in the remake.

It was more of a wooden rectangular box... And it friggin' sucks to put on the DVD shelf. Lousy awkward packaging!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who's OCD about that.

there was a terrible series of movies about the Knights Templar that came in an awesome coffin box. unfortunately, we had to return it because of the ratio of money to crap (does that even make sense?). it was a cool box though.
