Hey kids, I'm here with director Adam Green and actress Joleigh Fioreavanti to tell you to go see "Hatchet".

"Hatchet" is perhaps the best slasher-horror film of 2007 and probably in the last decade. Even Rob Zombie's Halloween can't trump this picture. It's released through Anchor Bay, the fine company that keeps giving you "Evil Dead" one and two on DVD. It should be in theaters Sept. 7th. Not in a theater near you? CALL/WRITE THEM AND LET THEM KNOW THAT YOU WANT TO SEE IT!!!

We're going back to basics of what makes a good horror movie.

This has so not been a paid advertisement for this movie.

I'm sold by the tagline alone.

Very poorly with MS Paint, or else they were made as a community service project by the students at the local school for the blind.

I'll be honest, my first thought was this was going to be another movie based off the book of the same name where a 14 or 15 year old kid is flying passenger in a Cesna and has to survive after it crashes into an Alaskan lake.

However, this does look promising.

I bet he thought he could get away with it since it's a low-res cellphone picture.

There's gonna be a lot of confusion about it and a movie adaptation of a book called Hatchet. Moms will be confused and sue for scarring their children, even though they could have just stopped the tape and not let the kids see the rest of it after the found out it was a horror movie unrelated to the book.

Actually, it's badly shrunken from a pretty awesome Canon camera. (fixed?)

And those sunglass are totally NOT hiding the fact that I'm blinking. Cool

Edit: Wow, those quotes are so not accurate.

BTW, for you horror fans, the film features Kane Hodder, Tony Todd, and Robert Englund... all in cameo-ish roles, but whatever.
