Uhm...I haven't read Beowulf in awhile, but I seem to recall that the story is basically "warrior comes to besieged meadhall, kills monster besieging meadhall then later kills monster's mother." Not "Monster's mother makes warrior super-powered and then he rides horses across flaming bridges and fights dragons and all sorts of other crap we made up on the spot." Also, I hate Angelina Jolie.

I'm definitely curious about it. And the CG... awesome. I completely forgot it WAS CG until about halfway through.
And hey, it can't be that much worse than, as Tebor puts it, the Highlander version.
