Did anyone else try this game?
If you didn't, heres a summary- Theres virtually no story, from what I can tell the world is a semi-western sort of continent where demons have taken over and you got a magic hand from heaven that allows you to beat the shit out of them.
So, the story sucks, and the majority of combat involves punching demons by mashing the square button then dodging. The graphics are threadbare even for PS2, and the voice acting is terrible combined with nonsense dialogue.
I'm not sure why I keep on playing it, but for some reason I kind of like the game. Its amusing in a cheesy way and a true beat-em-up in the classic sense, right down to the health restoring food in crates.
So, did you think it was almost good, or squarely to blame for the destruction of clover?

It's like the non-gay cousin of Final Fight: Streetwise.

It was a bit like resident evil 4, but not nearly as good. Can't give the game too much credit. Its definitely better than final fight: Streetwise.
IGN gave it a 3.0. WTF?

I played it, it was pretty fun. The controls were alright, and my god it was one of the hardest games I've played.

streetwise was an amusing game for twenty bucks. I would have liked it more if it was jsut called "Streetwise" and had nothign to do with final fight though.
the arcade mode was baddest of ass. that was suppsoed to be the whole game actually. a cel shaded beat em up like that, then capcom of japan nixed it.

You know what'd be cool on the Wii? An entire game devoted to the Tekken Force beat 'em up, with four player support.

That would be OK, actually. Tekken Force was an OK beat-em-up, it just had fucked over controls.

The one in 4. I also liked Devil Within a lot.
