this is what i watch when nothing else is on. i dont really care about it too much, but i like how the announcer just says crazy shit when nothing is going on. some boat owner dud ewas on once and the announcer was all "he's riding his own storm of championship right here" its fuckin crazy.

The primary English narrator (Dave Wittenberg) does the voice of Kakashi on Naruto.

As for the show itself, I've only really enjoyed watching it with friends.

lol... the announcer is awesome... he is so loud and hyped up...

reminds me of the announcer for the soccer games when i watch them on univision and/or telefutura... they even act/express themselves the same... all loud and even poetic like to an extent...

'and he reaches his arch nemesis... the warped wall...' lolol

I liked when they had the US Olympion on, and he just dominated the course. He had like 12 seconds to spare.

I think he only did so well because the course is designed to be challenging to Japanese people who are on average 5'7" tall, and this guy was like 6'4", so the wall jump, and jumping to catch the net and such was easy for him.

Ah. I cancelled the premium package that had G4, because G4 was the only channel in it that I liked and G4 has gone way downhill over the last few years.

So I can't watch it. Sad

Makoto Nagano is the fisherman, and he makes me want to go work out. I have a photo of him printed out and stuck to the front of my fridge with a magnet.

I also like Toshihiro Takeda, the fireman who always wears the orange pants, and Bunpei Shiratori, the skinny government worker. When they replay the older ones, I cheer every time Shane or Kane Kosugi lose, and when I watch the women's one, Ayako Miyake and her big square crotch win all.

The whole ninja fad has gone to far imo. Do the ninjas in the show fight each other or go through courses using stealth ninja tactics and other ninja stuff?

They're not ninjas, the name is just G4's attempt at making people go HAY NINJAZ or whatever. Here's a run from the show (one of the only guys to complete the whole thing):
