While I was bingeing on the Ys series, I found out that Mask Of The Sun was a lie to which it took Falcom 19 years to own up, so now I'm holding out for an SNES-compatible 16-bit demake of Memories Of Celceta before I ever do it again.

I spent almost an entire month pummeling a mountain to dust in Donkey Kong Bananza, during the course of which updates for both the game and the system became available. Tonight, I finally accomplished the task, so I decided to save and install said updates, figuring the destruction I'd wrought would still be there. I was dead wrong. Everything I'd destroyed since the 28th was back, as though I hadn't done a thing. I could've been advancing the story all this time. From now on, I'm only pounding where pound needs.
