That's awesome...I'm always in favor of obscure SSB characters, provided they aren't Mr. Game and Watch.
I hope they keep everyone from SSBM, except for Pichu, Young Link, G&W, Ice Climbers, and Dr. Mario ('cause having him and Luigi is redundant). The other clones (Gannondorf, Falco, etc) can stay 'cause they're badasses.
EDIT: Checked the playable characters list: Bowser and DK are in the game for sure, so if they keep Falcon, I'll be one happy bassist. Also, sorry, but it seems Dr. Wright isn't playable, but is an assistant kinda like the Pokemon in the first two games. Samurai Goroh is one two. They're in the "Items" section, after all.

Awww, Mr. Game and Watch and the Ice Climbers are the shit.
But yeah, it looks like they're tryin' to eek in as many appearances as possible...

Yeah, it's my understanding that Dr. Wright is an attack item, not a playable character. He appears and summons a giant skyscraper that launches anyone caught in its path.

I think the assist trophies is an interesting game aspect and I can't wait to see what other characters they're using as assist trophies.
The inclusion of the Hammer Bro. there gets a plus in my book.

I also like that Pikachu's Final Smash is the Volteccer move all the way back from Pulseman (Here called Volt Tackle)

Ice Climbers were fucking awesome. Mr. Game & Watch sucked, but he was fun to play as. And Dr. Mario was awesome too, I loved throwing pills at people.
They need to add in a Dr. Mario-themed level where it's a giant pill bottle and the platforms are the viruses.

What are you talking about? Mr. Game and Watch was bad ass, especially against grabbing whores like Link and Samus. I hope they get rid of all of those clone characters and replace them with originally configured counterparts.

He's pretty cool, but his roll-dodge is shit. If they fixed that and made him a smidgen faster, he'd be great.

Game & Watch's level is one of my absolute favorites in SSBM, but only for time-based melees.

Yeah. I love how it's a giant Game & Watch, and every character becomes flat in the level.

game & watch... the only two moves i cared for were his parachute + his manhole cover... those do a ton of damage...
but i like young link... better than old link cause he's quicker... and captain falcon is my favorite along w/dr mario... dr mario was so strong... better than regular mario...
i hope they get rid of mewtwo... he was just too slippery and it made it hard to control... i hope they keep peach...

I liked ganondorf. I know he was slow as hell, but he looks cool and he hits like a cannon.

Mewtwo was absolutely sick if you knew how to use him properly.

I gotta agree with RobotGumshoe. Ganandorf was a power house in that game, especially considering the fact that most the people I play with rarely block so they get launched off the platforms quickly with his ridiculous power houseness

Corrected (mostly for the atrocious overuse of elipses) but also because Zelda doesn't magically change genders when she becomes Sheik.

Sheik indeed awesome. Also, Sheik's a girl and she's my favorite character. Aerial combat FTW.
EDIT: Ah... I see Sathien beat me to the whole gender issue. Nevermind.
EDIT 2: I was not a big fan of Ganondorf, but his little double kick was the easiest way to beat the Master Hand/Crazy Hand combo.

Looks like Samus' armorless mode involves using her Final Smash. Makes sense.
The full roster so far:
Pit, Wario, Samus (with Zero Suit as a possible, unlockable seperate character), Mario, Link, Zelda, Kirby, Pikachu, Fox, Bowser, and DK.

That's how I beat event 50. I beat event 51 with Jigglypuff. Giga Bowser has a major weakness to sleep combos.
