After a six-month dry spell, Archie Comics and Sega have officially terminated their partnership and cancelled the Sonic The Hedgehog comics, mid-arc, no less.
I guess I knew this would eventually happen, I just wish they'd finished their stories first.

Fuck Ken Penders, that is all. The comic was soooo close to #300 too.

Update: IDW Publishing has picked up the Sonic license. No word yet on whether they'll pick up where Archie left off or start a whole new series.

these are just too dark for me to get into. i always liked the fun goofy parts of sonic, a little drama was ok, but a whole series about mourning him after his death is a bit much

I'll be honest, I'm actually glad Sega cut off ties with Archie. I fell out of love with Archie Comics Sonic a long time ago as they just seemed too fanficy to me. I'll take a more Sega-appropriate Sonic comic series any day.

I can see where you're coming from, but I'd still rather they'd at least waited until all arcs of the time finished.

I'll be straightforward, I'm really happy Sega cut off ties with Archie. I dropped out of affection with Archie Comics Sonic quite a while back as they just appeared to be excessively fanficy, making it impossible to me. I'll take a more Sega-proper Sonic comic arrangement quickly.

I like manga. I've begun to read mature manga on mangazuki too. This is my favorite manga. |

Are you a troll or do you truly have nothing non-derivative to add?

I'll be transparent, I'm really ecstatic Sega cut off ties with Archie Comics. I dropped out of affection with Sonic the Hedgehog as published by Archie Comics and Sega of America quite a while back as they just appeared to be excessively fanficy, making it impenetrable to me. I'll take a more Sega-proper Sonic comic provision post-haste.

I'll say what I'm thinking: I'm very overjoyed that Sega cut off ties with Archie Comics. I stopped loving Sonic the Hedgehog as published by Archie Comics and Sega of America over a period of time when they began seeming like they were written by fanfiction writers, making it, to my view, obtuse. I'll acquire a Sega-fied Sonic comic when available PDQ.

I never see comics sold in store anymore, and it makes me sad. The only way to find them is to seek them out on stores online.
