I would really like this to be a thing, for what it's worth, but me and my fiancée had a conversation about this the other day and we're both kinda assuming that Valve is done with developing games.

"Valve doesn't develop video games" is not the same as "I don't like the games Valve is developing" though.

Ah yes, a card game, likely full of microtransactions. A glorified smartphone game. They certainly know how to make money, but I feel like they lost the courage to make real full games. Probably due to the ridiculous amount of hype surrounding Half Life 3, which will likely never happen. They probably feel they can't risk disappointing people considering the overreactions rampant in our modern age of social media crybaby bullshit reactionary whining. can't say I blame them one bit.

Honestly, more than anything I just want more official levels to blow away fast zombies in. Sadly my laptop isn't powerful enough to run the bajillion L4D mods and custom levels.

only good alternative i have found is killing floor 2.
I can only enjoy games now when its me on a team with other players vs the AI and Killing Floor/L4D are the best ones I have found for a casual adult player.
