The Independent Film Channel is teaming up with Ubisoft for a contest in which you can make a short film based on the principles of Assassin's Creed. The contest, which runs until August 20th, comes with a grand prize of $10,000 cash, along with a kickass 360 setup (including the game). The best part, however, is that the winning film will be included in the special edition of the game, when it's released.

In addition, the winner's film will be shown on IFC.

I'm pretty stoked about this game, actually. It's getting a PC port that's being independently developed of the console verisons. The movement and exploration looks fun, the combat actually looks good. One of the devs said one hit to the head with a sword is death for anyone in the game, yourself included. Basically it looks like Thief + Splinter Cell with way better combat and movement.

This game looks badass, and with my new graphics card I'll be able to run it!
