I can't stop listening to this badass version of the Chrono Trigger theme. I'm not usually a fan of symphonies playing with a rock band, but this is great.
Also, total fail of a cameraman for not filming the keyboardist during her solo.

I've never had anything bad to say about that combo and I'm not starting now.
Incidentally, the second two-fifths of that tune originated in Chrono Cross and was added to the main theme when Trigger was ported to the PlayStation.

Oh, I love the combination when it's not just pointlessly slapping a guitar riff over a song that doesn't need one. Nine times out of ten that's all it is. This one integrated the two music styles well though.
Edit: Please don't remind me of that terrible PS port with the fifteen second load times every time you enter/exit a room. Most disappointing weekend of my life.

I can't find the thread about the video that plays during the Wii U to Wii U data transfer feature, but for some reason it reminded me of the Wii Eshop music. I miss that music so much, and I miss shopping there.
EDIT: I also miss downloading games off the Eshop, impatiently watching the Mario sprite from Super Mario Bros continuously run across the screen, jumping up and hitting a block every 1/3 of the game has been downloaded.

Well. Isn't this just a peaceful, dreamy arrangement of the Super Mario Bros. underwater theme?

Never played anything on the Amiga, and have certainly never heard of the game Neuronics before, but this song is boss as all fuck.

Just about anything from Xenoblade hits me pretty hard. The title for the game itself is wonderfully understated, just like this theme, it's just a grassy field, the Monado, and the silhouette of the Mechonis in the background. Then as the music intensifies, the sun rises and the camera focuses on other locales that you visit throughout the game.
Of course, if you just want insane crazy awesome battle themes, then I gotta go to SaGa Frontier. Goddamn the superhero story had the best stuff going on...
I could seriously go on forever and a day about music, I'm just going to leave it there though.

I love pretty much all the acapella stuff Smooth McGroove does. More specifically, I'm pretty enamored with Zelda music in general, and everything Donkey Kong Country 2 is fucking fantastic. I've often pulled up entire OSTs from these games on Youtube while studying.
Now that I'm playing Dark Souls, I've gotta say that the boss fight music is pretty much always amazing. Gonna go look up videos for them now.

This has forever been me and Syd's jam: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z6NaZrPQGfY
there's also music from one of the Megaman games that I really liked and I cannot remember which game it was @_@ Dr_Jeebus left the game paused for a really long time and it's been stuck in my head since then. When I remember what game it was I will let y'all know.

I totally knew that was gonna be City Escape before I clicked it.
Vampire Killer from Castlevania is one of my all-time favorite tunes. A lot people seem to think Bloody Tears is superior. Those people are wrong and stupid.
So you guys have to love Open Your Heart from Sonic Adventure, right? I couldn't choose between those two wonderfully cheesy tunes even if you put a gun to my head.

To be honest, we didn't play Sonic Adventure 1 as much. We played SA2 on the GCN, and it came out before SA1 on the GCN. After playing SA2, SA1 felt a lot less fun. SA2 is prettier, better paced, and oh yeah, no fishing levels. Nearly ever song in SA2 is great thought.

City Escape
Pumpkin Hill
Live And Learn
So much awesomeness.
You know what song I can't stand though? The Sonic Heroes song.
Shovel Knight's music is pretty great through-and-through, and its creator has even offered it as a free download. The Tinker Knight level is one of my favorites.
