Someone on my dad's mail route gave him an assorted bunch of homemade cookies for Christmas. Included in them were these cube-like cookies, which are probably the greatest cookies I've ever tasted. The flavor is hard to describe (vaguely butterscotch), and they're kind of powdery but relatively solid, and they dissolve in your mouth if you don't chew.

Are you sure it's not fudge? My mom makes butterscotch fudge that looks identical to that.

I hadn't considered that, actually. I just assumed that all fudge contained chocolate, and I can't taste any chocolate in said cookies.

I googled images of fudge and that is CORRECT! Woodzellington you are a genius. I'm about to become a fudgeaholic.
