I was supposed to report this last night but my sister had the computer, so here:
"Here's the emulator, it's still in preliminary form.
The games are perfectly playable expect for a few gfx errors.

For example, sprite zoom is still not emulated, neither are some sprite priorities.
And yes, the games are in English.

Here's the emu's site:

You only need the ROMs (the same old ones one the MAME set) and not the CDs."

(I suggest starting with Warzard/Red Earth. Awesome shit.)

Now if I can only get them to work.

I have tried unzipping the roms, leaving them zipped, moving them to the root directory, everything.

I keep getting "FAILED TO LOAD ROM, with a few files listed."

Does anybody know what romset version this needs?

Go to the CFG file and set the dircetory you want em in.

Remove the ";" in directories.

I did that. The program can find them, but it cannot load the files. So, I am wondering if I need to CLRMAME my roms up to current. I think I have a .107 set.

Though, if CPS3 has never worked before, why would the files get changed in updates?

Sure you put where your roms are located in the cfg file??

The romnames didn't get changed at all, I think. But try romhustler.net for 0.109 dated roms, if that's what it is.

No. Works by itself. Just configure the controls.

I've also tried to fix some problems that people were having with
some old and integrated graphics chipsets. Probably some problems
have been fixed, but there might still be some around.
You can now also try to fix the renderer to the vsync of your monitor
with an option in the ini file (ForceSync).

* CPS3 Emulator Test Version. This package includes both the normal and MultiCPU versions exes.
If you have graphics problems and are using the MultiCPU version, try with the standard version

Warzard and JoJo look amazing, instead of like shit now.

If anyone had problems like crashing and shit, or didn't like the games looking like shit, a lot of stuff is fixed in this release.
