Has anyone caught wind of this dude? Is he really even worth supporting considering the comments he made yesterday? Even before he made those comments, is it really smart to support someone who calls himself a 'patriot' by getting his gun-toting buddies to chase away authorities who have an obligation to enforce rules and payments?

I dunno about you guys but I think that only makes him and his 'militia' a bunch of anarchists, not patriots. This guy's a freeloading thug in my book. He's sure one to talk about black people on subsidies when he's the one being a moocher.

Fuck that guy, man. He's a bum and he and his cronies were perfectly willing to toss their wives right in front of a line of fire that they instigated. Nobody should carry a US flag around like it's some kind of fucking totem if they don't even recognize the government. He's a no-good cheating piece of shit.

pretty much this.

hes picking and choosing what laws to follow. he claims to not recognize the federal government, but then they had a designated "2nd amendment area" which is, you know, a federal law. and then he claims to have ancestral rights?! fuck that noise. if that were the case, give the land back to the shoshone native americans.

While the feds approached it in a manner that was too aggressive, and while the federal government owns too much land as it is, I just feel sorry for the other ranchers in the area that have been properly paying their taxes to let their cattle graze on that land.

The racism is pretty damn distasteful too.

The bottom line is, in spite of the federal government being too big for its own good, it still has the right to tax. It's the Whiskey Rebellion all over again! Save us George Washington!

I am confused by this statement. Didn't George Washington lead an army to go and put and end to the rebellion, and they all backed down before the army got there?

I actually would have been happy to see the government send in the army to deal with these imbeciles.
