I was inspired by Cam's Ugly shoes thread to make this one. This will be a general thread to discuss anything shoe, boot, sandal, slipper, moccasin, etc. related.

I will start it off by posting my favorite shoes ever.

Nike SB 720° Dunks, inspired by the 80's arcade game 720°.

I used to own a pair of these. Unfortunately, I wore the fuck out of them so they are gone now. If I ever find a good deal online I will probably buy another pair.

In all honesty, I've never really been super-interested in shoes. Mainly because cool shoes cost a bajillion dollars and I'm way too poor to be fashionable, but still.

These are what I have at the moment. They are falling apart though and I don't have the money to replace them since Kohl's hasn't had any good sales going on when I've checked.

Can't afford anything fancy but I'd love to have some of these if I ever had 500+ to spend on a pair of shoes. Nike Air Foamposites.

My favorites are a pair of Dr Marten 1460's.

Damned comfortable; but, expensive and fragile. Mine only lasted a year before they started to tear away from the sole. Now they've nearly disintegrated but I still wear them because they still mostly work... Confused

I got a pair of Dr Marten Tevins as a gift a while back. Most comfortable shoes ever.

Some steel-toed Sketchers Foremans when I did factory work.

They aren't near as comfortable as the 1460's but they were half the price and have lasted 10x as long.

...and another pair of Sketchers. No idea what they are called; I couldn't find them on the Sketchers website. This is some guy's eBay picture. Mine are in better condition.

Hehe, you've got nothing on mine, which are pretty beat to shit themselves, I've had them since last June:

I finally ordered some new ones about a week ago, and they just came in the mail:

I do everything in my high tops, hiking, working, whatever, I'm hoping these new ones will take a bit more of a beating than my old ones.

Reviving the thread, just for the sake of new content.

These are my new around-the-house shoes:

I have wide feet, so finding shoes that fit is a pain in the ass. But I found these and they were marked down to $30. They are some 'Made in China' brand I've never heard of, called I.D. Required. Not terrible. Smile

I just wear New Balance shoes because they always last well, except for my latest pair that fell apart after a few months for some reason. I end up buying new shoes every year anyway.

Gonna have Converse do me up a pair like this one day, only thing I'm bummed about is not being able to get the star logo on the inner ankle to match the black/green color scheme.

I got some new shoes (as usual Converse) for winter. They are made out of solid leather and the inside of the shoe is made from some synthetic fur, to keep you warm in winter. I'm very picky with shoes but i think a made a good buy.
