I hope Disney ruin Star Wars on purpose by marketing in to little girls or something, that would be fun.

As a HUGE Star Wars fan, I am excited to hear about this. Any new Star Wars stuff is good to me. It really can't get worse than some of the really bad shit that has already been done.

A lot of the complaints about Disney potentially ruining Star Wars do not make any sense to me.
How can anyone ruin it as much as Lucas did?
The Pirates movies were pretty good, were they not? Disney is overall more competent than him I will say.
There hasn't been anything good, story-wise at least, out of SW from Lucasfilm since Shadows of the Empire (Shadows of the Empire being the last thing they did that wasn't autistic and embarassing).
They should let the series die for good, it's already ruined. Beating a dead horse now even if 7 turns out good.

LOL
If it's anything like the revamped Star Trek was, then it'll at least be a good film, if not in the classical Star Wars sense. I'm eager to see what Abrams does with it.

Well, it's not going to be a reboot, so I am assuming it will be more of the Star Wars style than his own. Either way it will be interesting to see how this turns out.

I love JJ Abrams, and I love Star Wars, but this seems like a weird pairing to me. Abrams does a good job making an audience care about the characters in the film, so that's a definite positive and something lacking from the prequels. Hope it turns out well.

If Billy Dee Williams is in it, I will like the movie no matter what else happens.
