Very excited for this. Can't go wrong, and it's got a great cast!
"The costumed high-school hero Kick-Ass joins with a group of normal citizens who have been inspired to fight crime in costume. Meanwhile, the Red Mist plots an act of revenge that will affect everyone Kick-Ass knows."
Also, Jim Carrey as Colonel Stars:
Donald Faison as Doctor Gravity:

A movie called 'Kick Ass'? Really? I saw a movie called 'Eats Balls'. No wait that was Sister Act.

If you have never seen Kick-Ass, you are missing out, Slap.

I think part of the reason the first one worked so well was because it was filled with unknowns. Sure, Nicolas Cage is in it, but he's in everything.
I found this franchise great as a One-Of. No need for a sequel.
If this keeps up they might get ideas for Mystery Men 2...

I watch everything containing Jim Carrey. He could be playing Neo in Matrix 4 and i would watch it at the cinema.

I can't wait for this one, but I'm also a little bit worried. For some damn reason Matthew Vaughn doesn't seem to enjoy directing the sequels to his movies. He also won't be doing the next X-Men either. At least he will be there working as producer anyway, for both movies I believe.
The pics look great, looks very faithful to the comics!

An ironic statement considering how Big Daddy's origin was altered for the first film.
I don't know, for some reason I'm just not excited for this film like I was for the first.

I was just going by the pics that were posted, but I'm definitely not the best guy to be making movie/comic comparisons as I haven't read a single Kick Ass comic. I had no idea the origin story of Big Daddy was changed, and I'm glad I seen the movie first now otherwise I might have resented the film for changing things. Whenever I see a movie based on one of my favorite books and they change shit it usually makes it less enjoyable for me, even if the movie was well made.

I just saw the first movie a few days ago and it was surprisingly good. I wouldn't mind a sequel, but I'm with Ghandi on this one. I the this was fine as just a one-off.
