Hi.
I was just thinking about that it would be nice to play a RPG once wich is really heavy on the puzzle solving aspect, meaning that there are more frequent puzzles and in other RPG's with that element. And i don't mean games like Puzzlequest, i mean different puzzles to solve. Is there a games out there that would match with these criterias?

I remember Wild Arms 3 having a fairly large amount of puzzles to solve, but I can't speak for the rest of the series, I haven't played it yet.

I already played Wild Arms 3, but actually a good idea. I probably buy Wild Arms 5. I looked up some screenshots on google and the first screenshot that appears shows the main character solving a puzzle.

I'm getting the impression that you're after the Japanese rpgs, but the Quest for Glory -series on pc is a prime example of rpg meets puzzle solving. Classic 1st person rpg's (Eye of The Beholder and the like) meet this criteria as well.

You could play FF XIII-2, there were several puzzles in that, but the game is about as much fun as watching grass grow since the puzzles are really the only time you actually have to do anything remotely enjoyable and interactive. The rest of the game you spend holding the stick forward to move or tapping the action button so the battles can play themselves.

Great suggestion. I really love the first entry in that series. Was just thinking the other day about how you built your skills in that game, specifically the climbing. Wish it was able to keep its original title of Hero's Quest, though. Better title and more consistent with the Sierra line of adventure games. Damn trademark laws.

Try out the Lufia games, Lufia II to be specific.

Alundra I and II are puzzle heavy, that's the first series that came to mind reading your OP.

Good call. I played Alundra once but never finished it. I always adored the anime kinda graphics and the atmosphere of the game. Hell, i had Alundra stickers on my desk for 10 years or so. I gonna put that in the list.
