I've been playing this top-down survival horror/shooter for a couple weeks now and I have to say it is /fantastic/. Levels, storage cabinets, monsters, and secret rooms are all randomly generated, similarly to how many roguelikes play. It also has a pretty steep difficulty curve (as well as permadeath), and with 10 randomly generated levels, it doesn't get old
One of my favorite mechanics so far is item combination, you get to create new weapons, armor, and useful devices.
If you're skeptical, the demo is definitely worth a look into. It includes the first four whole levels, which is more than enough to get you into it

The way your point of view alters and shifts as you move around an area looks amazing. The top-down viewpoint almost reminds me of a Hotline Miami-take on survival horror. Why are all these awesome games coming out when I have way too much homework to play them.
