With my brother, being the paranoid person he is, constantly worrying about whether his wife's iPhone being left under his pillow may be the cause ofsome pain in the back of his eye due to radiation emissions, I have to wonder just how much radiation they give off, if it's at all significant.

I would imagine there might be a slightly higher risk of brain cancer or whatever for people who keep their phones against their ears all day every day for at least 10 years. I'm pretty sure having it under your pillow for one night is not gonna do any damage whatsoever to anything inside your skull.

I think the radiation is minimal. Otherwise we would have seen a drastic increase in the number of men with nut cancer, as most dudes carry said phone in their front pockets.

......I'm not even supposed to be here today!

They might not cause cancer, but they can have a serious detrimental effect on your soldiers.

I keep my Android on a holster in my belt so I should be okay.

I'm more concerned with the long term effects of Fukushima!

I have heard rumors that cell towers screw with bees and that's the explanation behind recent bee numbers, but I'm pretty sure I've heard OMG THE BEES ARE DYING before cell phones became so ubiquitous, so I dunno.

This is what I thought of when I saw this thread.

Well, I doubt I would ever get brain cancer or something from radiation from my iPhone, since I rarely use it for calling people. It's either in my pocket, in my bag (either not being used or being used for tethering or as a music player) or in my hands being used to browse the Internet or do some fancyass SSH (secure remote computer access) shit.
