It seems like double posting has been happening a /lot/ more often lately, to almost everyone. You can see it twice here and to Atma here, before he deleted the extra one.

Certain times of the day, there is definitely a loading issue. Right now it's fine, but in the evening or late at night it can take several minutes just to load the main page, and longer for individual threads.

I triple posted the other day. I also did not hit the post button more than once when I did it, which made it sort of weird.

Yesterday the forums weren't working at all for me; wish I'd screencapped it. Everything else on the site worked, but the page for the forums had a bunch of gobbledygook about SQL errors, and this link: http://www.sydlexia.com/forums/function.mysql-connect
Obviously, that page doesn't exist, so either that type of SQL error page has a system for automatically providing links (that failed in this case), or something else was going on.

Eh it works OK for me, I've had it hang \ freeze with preview or post, but nothing super bad, mild annoyance.
I bet whatever is wrong would be more noticeable if there was more activity here, as it is I post every few days and check a few days later, not really busy enough to post and check replies multiple times a day, so whatever it is doesn't seem that noticeable to me at least.

I agree, some of these pages take a lot longer to load these days. I know it's not just my computer. Most other sites do fine. Also some posts will take forever to be submitted and displayed.

Yeah, this is getting silly. I can load my email, check Facebook, and even scroll through Cracked just waiting for a message to post.

Might as well add to the chorus of voices saying it seems to be getting worse.
Or maybe it is supposed to be all messed up, to make us nostalgic about the internet of old.

I know chiming in about this is redundant, but it's gotten to the point where threads and pages just flat-out won't load, even after refreshes and whatnot. Thoughts, Syd?

Syd has been posting on the forum recently and is conviently ignoring this thread.
Anyway, the forum has recently been giving me nothing but 504 errors and long load times.

Just got my first 504 error on the site while trying to make a post. At least the post went through. Let's see if it does it to this post.
Edit: Nope actually went fairly quickly.

whatever he did, if he did anything, is making the forums load a lot quicker.

Yeah it definitely has sped up. Actually able to click my bookmark and have it load without a three minute wait.

Something I noticed is that even if I click "Keep Me Logged In," it always logs me out whenever I get off. It only started doing that recently.

That's sounds more like a problem on your browser's end.

Firefox gives me log in issues. It typically requires me to log in twice, wiping out the marking of new posts for me. So, I have to start a post, sign in, then cancel and go to the index for the new posts to be marked correctly.
I should probably just allow myself to stay logged in like I used to, but I just log in and out whenever I come here now. No good reason why...

Now that you mention it, that's probably the case. Internet Explorer is a piece of shit.

I'm starting to have some serious lag when I post too. Posting from my phone was fine before, but now it seems to be getting worse and worse.

Yeah this site is having some serious speed issues. It seems to take 3 minutes for a posting to take effect.
