99% of the time, Deku, a forum is attached to some kind of content producing site, be it a blog or article site, a webcomic, a news site, or any number of other things. A forum on its own isn't exactly going to attract mass amounts of posters, particularly when the only place you advertise this forum is on /another forum/.
This is basically along the lines of the short-lived Food Forum Militia forum, except with even less of a reason for existing.

If you want a forum where people can talk random stuff without the hassle of setup or registration, I recommend some kind of image board, especially since you have only one board set up right now. Kareha sounds like the kind of board you want to run and it needs no databases or anything.

I actually started the forum to post regular content every day and try to introduce people to the forum through advertising. It's just sitting there right now because I left it like that. I didn't know what to do with the forum at first, so I just introduced it to you all.

Blogs are much better for regular content postings. Have you considered getting a Tumblr? Once you get a hundred or so followers you can link a forum to it.
