Occasionally, responsible persons of legal age like to spice up their multiplayer video game shenanigans by drinking responsibly in a game-like manner. What games have you and your dudes of leisure concocted to enjoy on a evening?
Sometimes my friends and I play Drunk Driver Mario Kart. Pick a Mario Kart of choice and a beer of choice. No one touch their controller and their beer at the same time. You must finish your beer before you cross the finish line.

Had a good one in college with .skate, where we'd do H.O.R.S.E., and you'd drink every time you got a letter.
We tried doing drinking games for Guitar Hero/Rock Band, but they all kinda sucked.
Unrelated, but playing Clan Wars in World of Tanks is pretty funny when we're drunk, as our strategies devolve from tactically moving tanks with precise timing and coordination, to later battles where we just spam the in-game chat with swears while performing mass Maus charges and pushing the last lone enemy tank into the ocean. In public matches later on, we'll just team up with E-50s and ram every tank to death.

That Mario Kart Game sounds like fun. Hm, i should think of my own variation. Oh, this is an easy one that is adaptable to many Jump And Runs. Everybody gets a glass of wine and has to drink if he or she loses a life. It happens frequently enough in an Jump and Run. Guess that could work out...

Drunken Smash 64 where winner has to drink is good too!
Never read about anyone playing drunk Bomberman...

Or playing Zelda OoT. Everybody plays for 10 minutes straight and has to drink everytime Navi shouts "Hey! Listen!".

For the Mario Kart game I would just slam the beer in two seconds and then focus on the race. Not sure if that is how you are meant to play, but eventually I would be quite wasted and that would still be fun.

Pretty sure some of my initial posts here are about drunken Contra heh... platforming is hard whilst inebriated. 
I don't really get to do this anymore since I quit drinking like a fish and thus don't hang around with my old group any longer, but I seem to remember Mortal Kombat ( In any flavor really, oldschool 3D whatever) being an absolute blast when drunk.

I actually played Mortal Kombat (the first 3 games, arcade collection) with some buddies while we were all drinking/drunk a few days ago. It wasn't that fun for us, but Street Fighter II Hyper Turbo Fighting Alpha Super whatever was fun as hell drunk.

That's usually my strategy as well. However, I've seen people be very effective at guzzling quickly every time you get with a shell. You're not able to drive anyway, so taking your hands off of the controller doesn't matter.
