We all love and hate them. Uh, i guess we love to hate them. Or hate to love them. I better stop before my brain explodes.

Ok, breaking it down. I was talking Boss Battles and yes, this thread is original as hell, i'm aware of that. But i never saw a thread similar to this, so whatever.

Make a list of 10 bosses that left the biggest impression on you. Yeah, i know... that was unexpected regarding to the title. I'm just writting it down for the full retarded members among us. Not to point at anyone... *cough* Klimbatize *cough*

Well, whatever. I will write mine a little later since i'm a little busy right now.

The first segment of Sigma's battle in Mega Man X3 is one of my all-time favorites. I must have lost to him about fifty times as a kid. The battle pattern is actually pretty basic (see 1:14 in the video), but the music is panic-inducing and he is obscenely strong.

Also, if you count the first half of the final level in Fire Emblem (GBA), that would be on my list. Single bosses in general aren't very exciting in the game, but this area throws at you turn-by-turn some high level doppelgangers of previously fallen foes; so, the level basically feels like one big boss battle.

I'll burn for this, but General RAAM from the original Gears of War is pretty well-designed for a shooter. Nice and quick, too.

				Just a few.

Baby Bowser in Yoshi's Island. The buildup combined with the music made that battle amazing.

Seven Force in Gunstar Heroes. Seven forms, so many attacks that you have to learn how to dodge on the fly.

Tor in Iji. Again, music plays a big role. I think I have a thing for huge bosses.

Yes that one. In some countrys his name gets translated as Merco. It's a bit confusing.

By the way, here is a video of it so you can watch this glorious battle.

Sniper Wolf from MGS. Mainly because like Sean Connery in The Untouchbables, you can go "Just like a Kurd, bringing a sniper rifle to a rocket launcher fight."

The Helicopter from Revolution X

All bosses from the original Star Fox. Masterpieces of polygon art each and everyone of them.

Queen Zeal atop the black Omen from Chrono Trigger

Neo Sigma and Virus Sigma from Mega Man X2.

The Goliath Ride Armor from Mega Man X3 (except you have to sacrifice Zero's sword in order to fight it ).

Super Shredder from TMNT 4

The Submarine battle on Zoness and the Bolse satellite core from Star Fox 64.

Giant Baby Bowser from Yoshi's Island.

The final boss from Xenoblade Chronicles.

Either way, fixed.

As for my own contribs, I'd have to say Goht from The Legend Of Zelda: Majora's Mask, N. Gin from Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped, and the first round against Lumine from Mega Man X8.

Eh, the submarine fight is cool for what it was, but I found it to be a tad generic.
