I was hoping that somebody would post a thread about Thanksgiving while I was AFK, but nobody did, so here's an obligatory Thanksgiving thread. How did it go for everyone?!

Mine was fine. Went and had dinner then came back home and played Borderlands 2 afterwards before being dragged to the mall and Best Buy for Black Friday.

It was ok. Not nearly as festive as usual, but I left with a full belly and happy with my relatives. All in all a success.

You Canadians need to get with the program, once we Americans take over your country you're going to get messed with constantly for your backwards traditions. Except Boxing Day, we'll probably make that one ours as well.

My Thanksgiving was surprisingly superb. At first I thought I was spending Thanksgiving alone; normally I have it at my dad's house, but for some reason my non-skanky sister insisted that we have it at her house this year, and her mom was going to be there, and since her mom isn't a particularly nice person (my dad divorced her for a reason), I didn't feel like going. One of my friends had the kindness in their heart to invite me to their Thanksgiving, so I got to hang out with them. I ate turkey, ham, corn on the cob, green bean casserole, stuffing, cranberry sauce (with real cranberries), blueberry cobbler, peach pie, pecan pie, and apple pie, all homemade. I still feel like I'm going to explode.

It was...okay I guess. The food was good, but there was an argument between my brothers over a piece of turkey... Brother A got pissed when his wife took a piece of turkey from his plate, and it happened to be a piece that he was looking forward to eat. He got a little annoyed by this and this pissed off brother B saying that he "shouldn't be so selfish" and it just flared from there...
On the one hand, I can sorta understand that my brother would get a little pissed, especially since his wife took it without asking...on the other hand, it's just frickin' turkey; there's plenty of it to go around, no need to ruin a thanksgiving family meal over it...

My thanksgiving sucked because I am in Canada and I had to work! But next year I will take it off as my birthday and Thanksgiving happen the same day!

How does this taste, by the way? I've always wanted to try it since one of the restaurants in River City Ransom serves it.
