I beat FF6 for the umpteenth time last week.
Same here. I beat it under the 'no equipment, natural magic' challenge. The only thing I equipped was the Sprint Shoes. I have to say that this was the most fun (and anger) I had playing this game since playing it when it first came out nearly 20 years ago. Hardest bosses during the challenge: Dullahan, Goddess, and Atma.

Just finished Suikoden for the first time last night. I liked it, it was kind of easy(there were a few bosses that were hard), but I thought it was pretty cool. I like that you can choose over a hundred different party members.

Chrono Trigger. I'm not that much of an RPG dude, but I've beaten Chrono Trigger several times. I was working on Final Fantasy VII & XII years ago, but I never got around to it due to school, work, life... yeah. You gotta be really dedicated to beat RPGs. I used to have one friend who could beat an RPG in a week. How did he do it? I have no idea.
