I wish superhero movies would go away for a while.

I think it looks great, even if the bad guy does sound like Bane. |
He really does, yeah.
The villian kinda looks like the Iron Patriot from the Dark Reign Saga, but in the youtube comments they say it's Mandarin.
The film looks ok. A little darker than the previous movies.

We've still got Captain America 2, Thor 2, Avengers 2, The Wolverine, a sequel to the new Spider-Man, X-men: Days of Future Past, Guardians of the Galaxy, Ant-Man, Man of Steel, The Flash, Aquaman, Green Lantern 2, Wonder Woman, another Batman movie, and Justice League coming down the pipe.

The only thing better that a superhero movie is a superhero sequel! *sigh*

This movie was written and directed by Shane Black, one of my favorite screenwriters of all-time. Other movies he's written:
Lethal Weapon (1987)
The Monster Squad (with Fred Dekker) (1987)
Lethal Weapon 2 (1989) (Story Only)
The Last Boy Scout (1991)
The Long Kiss Goodnight (1996)
Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (2005)
He does the best movie dialogue ever. Seriously, if you haven't seen Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, watch it. So fucking good.

Cannot wait. And I had no idea about the writer Syd--that's AWESOME.
Also, the Iron Patriot guy is apparently War Machine with a new paint job (though Mandarin is the main baddy. And is played by Ben Kingsly. HFS.)

Ben Kingsley, of Bloodrayne fame!?
Just kidding. Really psyched that they're doing the Mandarin. My first choice to play the Mandarin would have been Yul Brynner, but he's 92 and he's been dead for 27 years. Ben Kingsley is an awesome choice.

Dolph Lundgren with a long-hair wig for the win.

Oh my god. Yul Brynner never even crossed my mind, but in his prime, he would have been amazing.
God dammit. Now this movie just got a little less awesome because I'll be wishing for him the whole time.
