Decided to burn through a few old school games during my days off, but I want to stick to stuff that's not as common, IE no Mario no Zelda etc.
I just beat Womp Em (thanks for the tips Syd ), and am not sure what to try next.

This is video mostly has ones that people here know, but it also introduced me to the raw awesomeness of Warsong and Uncharted Waters.

If you have a Super Scope, I'd suggest either Battle Clash or Metal Combat.

iPhone games are what you play when you can't get at actual games. You know, like how sometimes alcoholics drink mouthwash. |

Hell if you are playing on an emulator you can use the mouse to play Battleclash though it isn't quite as challenging as aiming something that weighs 5 lbs from your shoulder and having the batteries die halfway through. The last one can at least be simulated by a wireless mouse I suppose.

If you're looking for super-awesome not-as-popular NES games, you should try G.I. Joe, Magic of Scheherazade, or Ghoul School.

Paladin's Quest for the SNES. A RPG published by ENIX. It's not the best looking game, but it is definitely a hidden gem.

Here are some NES games assuming you're playing on an emulator:
Sweet Home
Gimmick!
Princess Tomato in the Salad Kingdom
Mother/Earthbound Zero
Clash at Demonhead
Magical Doropie
Shadow of the Ninja
Joy Mech Fight
Gun Nac
Downtown Special (an NES spinoff sequel to River City Ransom)
